Liebling Pleasure Society Chicago
Members meet monthly to enjoy camaraderie with each other and also for the purpose of passing on their heritage to each generation, which is so vital for maintaining our traditions and customs.Our members are ethnic Germans from the town of Liebling in the Banat region of Romania and we celebrate a once yearly Kirchweihfest as our official traditional celebration.

Our Village
Liebling is a village that was a part of the former Banat of the Hungarian Empire. Since the end of World War I it has been within the nation of Romania. It is located about 20 kilometers south of the Romania city of Timisoara. Liebling was founded in 1786. There is a considerable amount of information now available on its former residents.
